Biography

Highly experienced property maker residing in the North Yorkshire area

Props department of the National Theatre in London from August 1987 until June 2006

Special skills are modelling, mould making and sculpture. Also competent at upholstery, headdresses and other costume props as well as all general prop making including basic carpentry.

Glyndebourne 1979 - 87

Eight seasons at Glyndebourne Festival Opera, interspersed with freelance work for the Welsh National Opera and pantomime at the Theatre Royal in Windsor.

Also worked on the film “Star Wars – Return of the Jedi.”

Prop maker at Nuffield Theatre, Southampton

Wardrobe department at Theatre Clwyd, Mold

Prop maker at the Duke’s Playhouse in Lancaster

Theatre Design course at Trent Polytechnic, Nottingham (1971-4)

Available for either short or long term work.
